Whether you’re hunting for the latest bestseller or need some advice in the pursuit of your perfect job, Forum Library Wythenshawe is packed with resources and helpful staff. The library is situated in the Forum Centre, a bright and modern community hub offering leisure, education, library and health services alongside meeting rooms and creative activities.

The centre holds regular storytimes and hosts fun children’s activities during the school holidays. With a super DVD catalogue, featuring everything from stand-up comedy to Shakespeare, PCs and wifi, the library has a wide range of resources too.

Proud about local history and heritage, the library offers a family history group, where you can trace your own family tree. Running twice a month, the group offers help, tips and advice on researching your own ancestry.

The library also offers an Open Plus service for registered Open Plus service users. During Open Plus hours, there are no staff available, but registered users are able to use all of the library facilities.

All of Manchester's libraries have restricted and changing opening hours due to ongoing coronavirus restrictions; check with individual libraries for opening times before you set out.
