Located in the heart of the Northern Quarter in a former Victorian fish and poultry market, for over 40 years, Manchester Craft & Design Centre has provided a home to some of the region’s most talented independent designers and makers. Selling textiles, jewellery, accessories, ceramics, glass, prints and homeware, each of the 20 studios offers much more than just a shopping experience.

The centre hosts an exciting and varied exhibitions programme, showcasing the best of both British and international contemporary craft and design. Additionally, this brilliant set-up also offers a popular events programme for anyone who is looking to get creative and learn something new from the resident artists and exhibitors.

And if all of that sounds like thirsty work, the centre has its very own cafe on the ground floor where you can refresh and refuel.
