About Stockport County Community Trust

Stockport County Community Trust was established as a registered charity in 2021 to help deliver the vision of owner Mark Stott. Following his acquisition of the club he outlined his ambition for Stockport County FC to remain at the heart of the town, using football as a force for good and acting as a community anchor for loyal supporters and local residents.

The Trust now delivers a wide variety of projects that addresses the needs and inequalities existing within the borough. By harnessing the power of football, and by collaborating with key stakeholders, the Trust helps make a positive difference across Stockport by increasing physical activity, improving wellbeing, increasing educational attainment and building stronger communities.
