Starting with an exclusive tour of the Palace Theatre, Manchester’s oldest and most beautiful theatre.
Home to some of the biggest names in theatre and entertainment over the last 130 years. From Hamilton to Houdini, Manchester’s Palace Theatre has played host to the likes of Judy Garland, Charlie Chaplin, Luciano Pavarotti, Noel Coward and Laurel and Hardy gracing the stage. Even Rochdale’s own Gracie Fields has taken to the Palace Theatre’s stage and if you aren’t sure exactly how impressive that cast list is you might have to ask your Parents / Grandparents.
The tour will be led by one of the expert ATG INSPIRE team members from ATG Entertainment, which owns and operate the Palace and Opera House. You’ll explore the rich history of the building (including its fabled ghosts) as well as take a look at the different types of theatre careers that the building houses. The tour will include access to the spectacular auditorium and other areas of the building not usually open to the public.
You will then get the chance to learn about all of the exciting jobs and opportunities that you can find behind the doors of a busy theatre.
These exclusive tours / careers sessions are completely free to attend but places are limited so apply now!
