Christmas in Tameside this year will start in Ashton Market Square on Saturday 18 November with the extravaganza of festive celebration that is our Christmas Lantern Parade, featuring live performances with the grand finale of the Christmas Light Switch On by very special guest, Father Christmas.
Tameside Christmas Lantern Parade 2023 is produced by Global Grooves in collaboration with TMBC, Artistic Partners Cabasa CIC, No Eyed Theatre, Sarah England Dance and Phantasmagoria . All proudly based in the beautiful borough of Tameside.
Event timings:
5:30pm – 6:30pm Start of Tameside Christmas Lantern Parade
6:30pm – Christmas Light Switch On
