Fix It Yourself🔧
Learn how to look after your bike and carry out simple maintenance or how to maintain your bike to keep it in tip-top condition and save money on repairs, Manchester Bike kitchen offers Basic and Intermediate Bicycle Maintenance training sessions at subsidised cost in partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester (TFGM).
Get Involved 🚲
The MCRSHREDDERS, a mountain bike ride programme for young people aged 14–18, open to all genders, backgrounds, and experience levels. The aim is to get young people out of their area and into the surrounding hills and trails where they live.
The rides support young people to not only improve their bike skills but improve mental and physical health and create friends. It also supports young people make better life choices via peer mentoring and advice.

Support Recycling ♻️
Manchester Bike Kitchen refurbishes donated bikes and get as many back on the road as possible, salvaging usable parts to fix other bikes and keep waste to a minimum. Through FREE “Dr Bike” pop‑ups and FREE bike parts days, anyone can get safety checks, basic repairs or parts at no cost, with donations welcomed.
Repaired bikes are sold at an affordable price to fund the project or donated to young people and community partners, helping with travel to school, college, jobs, and opportunities. Check in here for more details.

About Community Bike Kitchen
The Community Bike Kitchen is a not for profit organisation established by experienced community workers.
The mission is to teach and support people in becoming self-sufficient and proficient in bike riding, bike maintenance, organise instructor led bike rides, offer volunteering opportunities to bike enthusiasts and the general public. TCBK are currently delivering bike repairs and servicing along with bike maintenance training to the general public. Their staff are experienced, qualified bike mechanics and bike ride leaders via Cycling UK.
