NWTAC Theatre is a community venue based in the heart of Moston, North Manchester.
North West Theatre Arts Company was formed in 2009 to invite more young people into the performing arts. NWTAC delivers a full and varied programme of productions throughout the year alongside community performances and activities. Since the company was formed, it has staged and hosted a range of well received productions, gaining a reputation for a unique style and professional experience from beginning to end.
NWTAC's aim is to create a creative arts 'hub' in the north, providing affordable working space, productions, classes and sessions for all within the community.
NWTAC TEACHES - Home to the North West Stage School (NWSS), training young people from the ages of 7-24 in the performing arts; in preparation for academic drama courses, a career in the industry or simply as a hobby. For actors in the community who wish to find an alternative to amateur theatre, NWTAC provides an adult company. Members work in dedicated productions but also with Stage School students in joint productions. Adult members are able to join the company at any point throughout the year.
NWTAC TOURS - Theatre in Education (TIE) is a professional touring company that projects delivering professional productions, workshops and classes to schools and colleges.
NWTAC HIRES - The NWTAC hire department has an extensive collection of set, props, costume and drops and are guaranteed to beat any like-for-like quote in the North West. With a bespoke making and tailoring service option, companies, schools, and amateur societies can be confident that their show/event looks fantastic.
