Using your pass

Your journey starts here.

Once you’ve received your pass, you can start using it straight away.

Touch-in with your pass on the smart reader as you board the bus.

Bus reader touch

You can use your pass at any time, on any local bus service in Greater Manchester.

You don’t need to touch-out at the end of your journey.

For the full list of local bus services visit the TfGM website.

If you’re travelling across the Greater Manchester boundary, you’ll need to pay the driver for part of your journey. If you’re not sure where Greater Manchester starts and finishes you can view TfGM’s boundary map.

Using Our Pass on Metrolink

With Our Pass you can also buy half-price off-peak 1-day and weekend Metrolink travelcards. Off peak travel begins at 9.30am on weekdays and is all day at weekends and on bank holidays. You will need to 'touch in' and 'touch out' at the start and end of your journey using the yellow smart readers at tram stops. Plan your journey

TfGM have an online journey planner you can use to find your route.

Access your opportunities

Your pass gives you access to a huge range of opportunities and Our Pass is committed to making sure those opportunities are as accessible as possible, to everyone.

Visit the opportunities page to view all the latest offers, discounts and opportunities available with your pass. You can search for specific offers or areas or browse everything on offer.

Each link to an opportunity gives you information about its accessibility, e.g. venue access. Our Pass is working with Triple C to make sure Our Pass is as inclusive as possible for all eligible 16 - 18 year olds. This is an on-going process, with continuous development and a significantly important part of the Our Pass pilot.

Please help us to get it right and please be patient if it’s not right straight away. Instead, if you have any comments or feedback about how we can improve the site or the opportunities for greater accessibility please let us know.
