Project Musical is a new participatory programme by Palace and Opera House’s ATG INSPIRE team. Over the course of a week, under the guidance of dynamic theatre professionals, young people agreed 12 – 19 will create and rehearse a brand new 1 act musical of their creation.

Following in the footsteps of productions that opened right here in Manchester, you’ll work with industry professionals and collaborate with fellow participants through exciting workshops in dance, drama, voice, and creative writing. Together, you’ll develop and bring your ideas to life while gaining behind-the-scenes experience in and around the Palace Theatre, including its iconic main stage. ✨
This project will be led by Cameron Lythgoe (Writer, Actor, Producer and Playwright), Charlie Mae McKevitt (Actor and Movement Director) and Grace Cameron (ATG INSPIRE Producer, Palace and Opera House) supporting you to create and shape a new show concept from scratch.
