The People’s History Museum, also known as PHM, tells the story about the development of democracy in Britain. Examining the past, the present and looking to the future, the museum provides opportunities for everyone to learn about equality, social justice, co-operation and building a fair world for all.
Offering a powerful programme with annual themes, this year the museum will examine the topic of migration. Previous exhibitions have looked at the right to vote in Britain and the protest movement, to mark the bicentenary of the Peterloo Massacre.
PHM is a worthy day out for the whole family, get inspired and get involved in ideas worth fighting for.
