About this opportunity
Opportunity Provider: SharpFutures
SharpFutures, in conjunction with Sky Drama and Space Studios Manchester, is happy to invite all Our Pass holders to enter their Intergalactic writing competition.
Write a short script using the provided template, set on a spaceship, no longer than 5 pages and featuring a maximum of 4 characters that you’ve invented. It can be set anytime and anywhere in the galaxy. Move us, thrill us, scare us, or make us laugh… but your story must have a beginning, a middle and an end.
Remember you are writing for television, so make sure you create ideas that will look good and keep a TV audience hooked!
The winning script writers will receive an on-set tour of the new Sky Original production, Intergalactic, an emotionally charged 10 part sci-fi series for Sky One. Winners will also get to meet some of the key creatives involved in putting together a big budget television drama series, and will learn about the process of taking an idea through development and into production.
